The airy, vibrant space features soaring ceilings, a massive birch tree installation in the dining room center, colorful Arne Jacobsen chairs, and a long white bar counter. The open kitchen opposite the bar allows guests to admire the busy chefs at work.
Smörgås Chef is proud to serve a fresh and unique menu based on the principles of "New Nordic Cuisine," which is deeply committed to using local, sustainable, and all-natural ingredients. Smorgas owns and operates its own 300-acre farm in the Catskills.

Lunches are bustling and busy, dinners are calmer and intimate, and brunches are relaxed and family friendly. The current menu offers authentic Scandinavian cuisine, including the smorgasbord tasting plate, Swedish Meatballs with Lingonberries, and our popular open-faced sandwiches.
